Wow, I'm actually quite impressed with myself. I tried some new techniques while making the picture, like creating my own color palette instead of using the eyedropper tool to get colors. And for the first time, I painted something in B&W (Celestia's mane) and then used colors to color it on an overlay layer.
I'm starting to really love Twilestia. I dunno, they just seem so adorable together, Celestia's beautiful, loving, and maybe somewhat motherly, and twilight's geeky and cute, not to mention I'm pretty sure she might have a crush on Princess Celly :3
If uploading to other sites and you're tagging it, know that Twi's a unicorn in this pic, not alicorn.
Done in 2 days on Photoshop with 39 layers, a new record. Poor Photoshop must have a headache!
