Well, while browsing through your gallery, I've seen some of the most excruciatingly emotional pictures I've ever had the misfortune of sobbing at the presence of. How could I resist critiquing every last one of your works? Better to start from the beginning, so here's I go.
I'm very biased here, because these are my favorite ponies. Rarity and Fluttershy make the cutest little pair, I could just (non-sexually) jizz my pants. And that's what makes this picture so special. "Green is not your Color" didn't really do the pairing of the two the way I wanted it to. But you certainly took care of that! Yes, I'm prepared to state that this piece of fanon is better than canon.
Though a makeover is a tad predictable, (I'm prickier than a fucking cactus) it's almost amazing how unbelievably fresh this is. A manual haircut is a lot more "friendshipy" than a magic hair care spell, (IMO) and yes, those glasses are freakin' adorable.
Technique was marvelous, if not a little wiggly. Rarity's hooves and some of her other outlines look sort of rough, and Fluttershy's hair is noticeably bulky. If that was what was intended in the makeover, then I understand.
Shading and dimension is near excellent, especially on Rarity's features. The glow of her horn, as well as the instruments she holds are memorizing, more than that of the show itself. And, good Gawd, that blush!
The impact was subtle, but definitely still has that charming quality of the rest of your title's. If anything, I almost find the subtlety a virtue. Though, as I said, I can't get much out of a makeover other than the fact that it's super cute.
Just fine, though. You made the two look more like friends, keeping something as cliche as this fresh. It takes some hard fucking work, so pat yourself on the back. You've earned at least that. At the most, I'd say you need a victory cake. Just don't eat the ribbon
