You Have Come to Make Peace?

The Backstory:
This takes place a few days after her breakdown in the forest. It is the second day of winter. Twilight's walking back to her place after visiting Zecora in her home, when suddenly she sees Trixie next to a tree. She notices how dirty she is, not being able to bathe herself, and her head lowered down in sadness. Noticing something's wrong with her Twilight goes over and says hello to Trixie and asks her if she wants any help. Trixie's surprised to see Twilight, but tells her she doesn't want any of her pity. Twilight tells Trixie she only wants to help, but Trixie then snaps at Twilight, telling her it was her fault for showing off her magic and making her look weak. After a moment of silence, Twilight asks her why she acted the way she did in Ponyville. Trixie doesn't want to tell her, but after looking at Twilight's concerned face, she agrees to. Trixie explains it was mostly due to problems with her parents at home and her feeling weak and defenseless. After hearing the story, Twilight understood why Trixie acted the way she did. Feeling sorry for her, Twilight gave Trixie her scarf, knowing it was cold outside. Trixie was surprised, she thought Twilight hated her. Twilight then says she always believes in second chances and offers her to stay in her home for a while. Honored by the gesture, Trixie agrees Twilight's offer, and then showed a true genuine smile of happiness for the first time in years.

Here's what I think on why Trixie acted rude arrogant and powerful.
I think that her mother, who was a kind and caring pony, died due to some disease when Trixie was very young, this devastated Trixie. However, Trixie's father was a rude pony, and acted arrogant and powerful (this put an influence on Trixie) and wasn't proud of her because he thought she wasn't good enough at magic, so he abandoned her a couple of months after her mother died. This also devastates Trixie, because he was basically all she had left. So Trixie, goes from town to town showing off her magic abilities hoping her father is in the town to see how great and powerful she is, and also to impress him and win his love back.

I know the whole Twilight finding Trixie and comforting her in her time of need thing is an overused theme for Trixie pics (I think?) But I wanted to give my own swing at it!
